We use 3D intraoral scanning technology to digitize all the information in your mouth and build an accurate 3D model. With that information, we walk you through a clear diagnosis and treatment options that fit your needs and your budget.

▸Is the quote I get at the evaluation a range or a fixed price?
After the evaluation you get a written, itemized quote. The exact amount depends on what your diagnosis shows, so it is always given as a range starting from a base price, never as a closed figure upfront.
▸Can I come without knowing what treatment I need?
That is exactly what it is for. The evaluation is designed for patients who don't know what they need, who want a second opinion or who simply haven't been to the dentist in a while. You will leave with a clear diagnosis, concrete options and all your questions answered.
▸Are X-rays included in the evaluation?
No. Diagnostic imaging (panoramic X-ray or CT scan) is not included in the price of the evaluation. If you have recent X-rays (less than 6 months old), bring them. If you do not have them, you can have them taken the same day at the radiology center located in the neighboring tower. The 3D intraoral scan is included and is done at the office.
▸Can I send the panoramic X-ray or CT scan I already had taken back home?
Yes. You can send it by email or WhatsApp, in whatever format is easiest for you, including the DICOM file from a CT scan. X-rays are not included in the price of the evaluation, but they are always required: if you don't have one, or the quality isn't good enough, it can be taken the same day at the radiology center in the neighboring tower.

The $150,000 package includes the comprehensive clinical evaluation: clinical history, review of your X-rays, 3D intraoral scan, digital planning and simulation, diagnosis, treatment options and a written quote. The $350,000 package includes all of the above plus the complete dental cleaning: scaling, calculus removal, prophylaxis, removal of surface stains and periodontal evaluation.
▸Can I do the evaluation over video call before I buy my ticket?
Yes. A virtual evaluation with Dr. Macareno costs the same, from $150,000 COP, as an in-person one, and reviews your photos and X-rays to tell you whether you are a candidate before you travel. It is not credited toward treatment either.
▸How long does the evaluation visit take?
About 60 minutes. In that time we take your clinical history, do the 3D intraoral scan, reach a diagnosis and hand you a written quote. X-rays are not included, but if you don't bring them we arrange them the same day.
